Bob Idol has practiced law in the Triangle area since 1983. His primary areas of practice are estate planning, estate administration, and business organizations.
He is a co-author of Administration of the Estate in North Carolina, published by the National Business Institute, and past president of the Durham/Orange Estate Planning Council.
He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 1981 after receiving both his undergraduate degree in business administration (1978) and his law degree (1981) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, he received his Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Emory University School of Law in 1983.
Prior to founding Idol Law, PLLC, Bob was a shareholder with Bryant, Patterson, Covington, Idol & Lewis, P.A. for 25 years, a member/manager of Reinhardt, Milam, Fisher & Idol, PLLC for 4 years, and a member/manager of Milam & Idol, PLLC for 10 years.
